Smart city and street lighting specialist prepares for debut at one of France’s largest Local Authority exhibitions
SOWERBY BRIDGE, UK: Lucy Zodion Ltd, UK based intelligent street lighting and smart city specialist, is to exhibit on stand D75 at the Salon Des Maires exhibition held in Paris, France, on 19th -21st November 2019.
One of the largest events of its kind, the exhibition will provide a platform for Lucy Zodion to introduce its Ki. smart city solution to French decision makers (councillors, mayors and officials), with a focus on intelligent street lighting.
Established for 60 years and developing smart street lighting solutions for over 50 years, Lucy Zodion is dedicated to the manufacture of high-quality, innovative products that meet the specification of modern outdoor lighting technology. With a growing need for intelligent and efficient street lighting, Lucy Zodion will introduce a pioneering solution at the show that paves the way for connected lighting and smart city development.
Introducing Ki.
Ki. (Pronounced ‘key’) makes street lighting connected and more intelligent, to prepare cities to become smart. From communications systems, to the smart hardware that enables them, Lucy Zodion will demonstrate how Ki. can make street lighting easier to manage, control and monitor remotely.
The solution enhances street lighting infrastructure and generates performance insights, via a series of connected nodes (installed on streetlights) that communicate with the Ki. platform. This is all supported by LoRaWAN for a secure, two-way flow of data.
From dimming and switching for energy efficiency and optimum illumination, to intuitive features that reduce maintenance and faults, Ki. provides in-depth insights into the behaviour of street lighting infrastructure.
About the event
Salon Des Maires is over twenty years old, launching in 1996 in line with the Mayors’ Congress in the same year. It is the only event of its kind in France and is the only national event that brings together all the major players in local authority public procurement, alongside their industry peers.
An event that solely focusses on the local government sector, its main aim is to provide industry professionals with answers and solutions to the challenges encountered throughout communities and regions across France.
This year, the event is in conjunction with the 102nd Congress of Mayors and will host over 800 exhibitors and 100 conferences and technical workshops, all of which are expected to attract over 5000 attendees and participants.
