Meeting City Challenges
In order to ensure smart cities are successful, city and town leaders must first understand the unique pain points of their community. By identifying municipal challenges, smart city strategies can become more focused with a clear goal. The Smart Cities UK Roadshow will help city leaders address these challenges and discuss next steps within an open forum.
Lucy Zodion has over a decade of experience in the smart city and intelligent street lighting industry. In this time it has helped a large number of Local Authorities transform their street lighting infrastructure into smart city assets, by deploying over 500,000 smart nodes throughout the UK and beyond. This puts the specialist in a unique position, having in depth experience of a relatively new industry, with a proven track record.
But to optimise existing street furniture into smart city assets, it takes more than a single piece of hardware, like a node or smart device; the entire ecosystem must be considered, from kerb right through to cloud. This is why Lucy Zodion has developed its next generation smart city solution, Ki.
Unlock the potential with Ki.
Lucy Zodion will speak at Conferences throughout the Roadshow to provide further information about its Ki. smart city solution. It has been designed to help Local Authorities take control of their city, with intelligent IoT devices and an interoperable user platform.
Considering the entire smart city ecosystem, from kerb right through to cloud, Lucy Zodion’s Ki. solution is able to provide insights from various connected points that aid informed innovation. From street lighting to air quality, waste to water levels, Ki. can unlock many opportunities for the development of smarter town and cities.
Optimised By Openness
At the Roadshow, Lucy Zodion will also explore the theme of ‘Optimised By Openness’ not only via its own Ki. ecosystem, but the benefits openness has throughout the entire smart city. By working with vendors that provide open solutions, it unlocks tie-in and opens up opportunities for a multi-vendor smart city. This means that cities can become optimised based on the unique needs of their citizens, to address the challenges on the street.
Lucy Zodion will talk at a number of conferences throughout the UK to drive this theme further. Openness is a key component for the development of interoperable, innovative and futureproof smart cities. Taking an open approach to the way urban spaces evolve, helps city leaders unlock in-depth smart city insights gathered from various connected points.
The Smart Cities UK Roadshow will provide the ideal platform for Lucy Zodion to reinforce the need for interoperability and inform City Leaders about the benefits of its smart city solution, Ki. and how it is able to aid informed urban innovation.
