Annual Coffee Morning proves great success at Lucy Zodion, raising £160
Each year Lucy Zodion coordinates a number of activities that both bring the team together and raise money for nominated charities. From raffles to family fun days, over the years Lucy Zodion has endeavoured to try new ways that involve the whole team and this year was no different.
Macmillan hosts ‘the World’s biggest Coffee morning’ every year; this year it took place on Friday 24th September and Lucy Zodion once again got involved. Different to previous years, the 2021 Coffee Morning encouraged teams to take five for Macmillan and have a cuppa and cake on us. Lucy Zodion wanted to ensure the site remains COVID safe, so decided that this year it would be appropriate to buy in the baked treats, rather than have a bake-off style event. Something we hope will be back some day in the future.
A total of £77.86 was raised, which was matched by Lucy Zodion to make £160. This will go towards the great work that Macmillan Cancer Support continues to do in helping find a cure and improved treatments for cancer.
