The Rule Engine is a flexible functionality which allows users to define autonomous system response based on fulfilling certain state or operating conditions of smart objects. It is also possible to schedule repetitive automated actions at precise moments in time.

In short, setting up a rule requires selecting the devices, configuring the trigger conditions, and specifying the course of action.

The ability to create tickets, manually or automatically based on notifications and alerts, to assign them to responsible technicians and to log everything for review and overview.​

Pinpoints is an installation location, with exact GPS coordinates, that can include multiple objects, both smart and non-smart. For example: a streetlight controller, an environmental sensor together with the lamp and the pole they are installed on, are all represented on the map with a single pinpoint. Besides de-cluttering the map view, the pinpoint can aggregate similar parameters, for example can calculate how much energy is consumed at that location by adding up the sensor energy consumption with the controller energy consumption.

Objects, smart and non-smart objects and pinpoints can be enrolled, viewed and managed from the map function, or from the inventory items table.

All objects can hold “user provided attributes” against them so you can define exactly what data you want to hold in Ki. CMS against each individual object or type.

A clearer more user-friendly faults/notification centre. Access all your active notifications and issues from a single searchable/filterable list. Viewing all historic fault data of notifications that have opened and closed at some point during the past.

A restful API is available for easy integration into other 3^rd party control platforms or software.

A new functionality which allows you to send override commands to a pre-determined group of streetlights or for even more flexibility a group of street lights can be selected from the map and controlled to the councils requirements.
