On Thursday 25th July 2019, the summer weather soared above 32°C; one of the hottest days ever recorded in the UK. In a bid to cool down as the country reached scorching temperatures, Lucy Zodion staff dressed for the occasion.
To stay cool and comfortable, Lucy Zodion hosted a ‘Summer Clothes Day’. This meant that all staff were able to dress down in their summer wares and, in the interest of good will, participants each donated £2 to the company’s chosen charity, Overgate Hospice.
The event proved a success with the Lucy Zodion team raising over £85 for the cause! An achievement that was rewarded with ice lollies, provided by Chris Dumon, Operations Director. A great way to boost morale in such challenging conditions.
Lucy Zodion would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who donated and participated in summer clothes day, which all supported a great cause.
