Smart city and street lighting specialist sponsors and exhibits at Smart Cities UK Awards and International Exhibition & Conference 2020
SOWERBY BRIDGE, UK: Lucy Zodion Ltd, intelligent street lighting and smart city specialist, is to exhibit at the 5th Smart Cities UK International Exhibition & Conference 2020 and sponsor its corresponding Award Ceremony. The event takes place on 13th February at The Marriot, Regent’s Park, London.
Lucy Zodion will exhibit at the event and present a 15 minute speaker slot at the Conference, as well as sponsoring the Awards. The International Exhibition & Conference is now in its fifth year and, since its launch, has engaged with over one thousand regional leads to share guidance, expertise, information, knowledge and resources.
The exhibition
This year Lucy Zodion will host a stand at the exhibition to drive its theme of ‘Optimised By Openness’ – a key component for the development of interoperable, innovative and futureproof smart cities. Taking an open approach to the way urban spaces evolve, helps city leaders avoid vendor-tie in and unlock in-depth smart city insights gathered from various connected points.
The Lucy Zodion team will take delegates through its smart city solution Ki. and the many use cases that help overcome smart city challenges, in a series of on stand demonstrations.
The Conference
The Conference has been designed to bring some of the leading smart city specialists and most influential city leaders together, to discuss and understand some of the core initiatives and challenges impacting smart city development today. With Keynote speakers such as Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan and sessions from Microsoft, the Conference looks set to provide valuable insight from powerful figures in the smart city sector.
Lucy Zodion will also deliver a session at the Conference to explore the capabilities of Ki. It will explore use cases that detail how to overcome some of the common challenges cities face. From efficiency to asset management, environmental changes to futureproofing, the specialist will take delegates through the many ways Ki. is able to unlock the potential with openness and insights.
The Awards
The third annual awards for Smart Cities UK will take place the evening of the International Exhibition and Conference. The awards have been introduced to honour organisations across the UK, Europe and beyond that are demonstrating use of behaviour change education, technology and innovation to overcome economic and social challenges.
Lucy Zodion will sponsor the awards to reinforce its dedication to the Smart Cities UK ‘Meeting City Challenges’ campaign.
